The European Day of Languages will take place in Athens on Saturday, September 27, at Pedion tou Areos! The Finnish Institute at Athens will participate together with other educational and cultural institutions and the embassies of 14 European countries. We invite invite you to a multilingual journey from one European country to another with activities for all ages.
This year’s theme is Democracy and the program is focusing on the role of language and culture in cultivating and promoting democratic values, highlighting them as important factors for strengthening children’s skills regarding active citizenship and their participation in a prosperous society.
