The Finnish Institute at Athens is hosting the book presentation of ‘Making the Modern Turkish Citizen: Vernacular Photography in the Early Republican Era’, by the author Özge Calafato (University of Amsterdam).
The event will be organized in collaboration with The Netherlands Institute at Athens (NIA) and the Nordic Library. The event will be moderated by the NIA-Librarian, Ms. Sotiria Nikolou.
The book presentation -which is part of the NIA-Library’s activities- will be held on Wednesday 22nd October 2025, at 18.00, at the Finnish Institute at Athens, 16, Zitrou str., 117 42 Athens
